25 Healthy Apple Recipes

Some of the best healthy apple recipes from your favorite food bloggers!

Every year we go apple picking as a family at least once. We are so lucky to live within minutes of one of the prettiest orchards around. Even the drive there is beautiful. It instantly puts me in a good mood. This year, we’ve gone twice already and I’m pretty much thinking we may go every weekend through the fall. The apples are so incredibly good this time of year and with new varieties peaking every weekend, how could we not?

OK. So, it’s not just the apples…

I’ve got a thing for hayrides. I feel like a child as soon as I see the tractor making its way down the path. Once we start moving and the wind is in my hair, you couldn’t wipe the smile off of my face if you tried. I think I tell the driver the same thing every time, “I could do this all day!” I’m sure he thinks I’m a bit of a whack-a-doo, but he’s always got a huge smile on his face too (hmmmm…maybe there is something to that hayride after all).

When it’s all done, we head back to the car with bags full of apples, apple cider, apple butter and cider donuts. So, with all of those apples, it’s fun to experiment with different recipes. I’ve got some of my favorites, but I’m always looking for more inspiration. Lucky me, I’ve got some of the most talented blogger friends willing to share their recipes with me…and YOU!

So, get out there and enjoy the cool crisp fall. Go on a hayride (or two), pick some apples and come home and bake up something that puts a smile on your face!

This post is EXACTLY what I needed! My family (even grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles …) when on a mega apple-picking expedition last weekend! I’ve been busy testing new apple recipes, but my counters and fridge are still overflowing with apples (no … seriously … they’re EVERYWHERE!) Thanks for the delicious help!
