This simple Chocolate Frosty is so thick and chocolatey…yet deliciously vegan, gluten-free and with no refined sugar! Plus…it's got some great plant-based added protein!

Ingredients
1frozen medium bananabroken in half
1cupUnsweetened plant-based milk of choice almond, oat or macadamia are my favorites
2pitted datesoptional, for extra sweetness
1/2 to 3/4cupice cubes
1tablespoonvegan vanilla protein powder
1tablespoonunsweetened cocoa powder
pinchof fine sea salt
Instructions
Place all of the ingredients into the pitcher of your blender. Process on the smoothie setting or on high speed for about 40 to 45 seconds or until smooth.
Serve with a spoon or straw.
Notes
If you'd like to make this without the protein powder, add 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.
