This simple Chocolate Frosty is so thick and chocolatey…yet deliciously vegan, gluten-free and with no refined sugar! Plus…it's got some great plant-based added protein!
1frozen medium bananabroken in half
1cupSilk Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 to 3/4cupice cubes
1tablespoonvegan vanilla protein powder
1tablespoonunsweetened cocoa powder
pinchof fine sea salt
Place all of the ingredients into the pitcher of your blender. Process on the smoothie setting or on high speed for about 40 to 45 seconds or until smooth.
Serve with a spoon or straw.
If you'd like to make this without the protein powder, add 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.If you'd like your frosty a bit sweeter, feel free to add up to 1 teaspoon of pure maple syrup or honey or try adding 1 pitted date before processing.
