Notes
Use a fruity red wine that you love. Save expensive red wines to drink alone. I like using a Grenache when making sangria. If you prefer white wine, you can certainly substitute with that. Expect a slightly pinkish color. When entertaining, you may want to set up a sangria bar with a pitcher of the sangria and bowls full of diced apples (be sure to toss them with a bit of lemon juice), pomegranate arils and some bottles of sparkling water. You may even want to put out some cute spoons for snacking on the apples…they taste amazing!
